The Christian Museum Foundation
The Foundation was established in 1990 by the Christian Museum and the Emlék és Kegytárgygyártó Kft. (Manufacture of Devotional Articles Ltd.) of Pilisszentlélek with the purpose of contributing to the maintenance of the richest ecclesiastical collection of Hungary. The Foundation functions as a non-profit organization. The members of the board of trustees represent church and world authorities as well as entrepreneurial circles. The funds raised are used to the following purposes:

Conservation and restoration of the works of art in the permanent exhibition and the museum deposits

New acquisitions

Publications of studies and exhibition catalogues

Support of contemporary artists and temporary exhibitions

The Foundation is sponsored primarily from the yearly donations of the Friends of the Christian Museum and from the amounts received from the 1% donations of personal income tax. In addition to these regular donations, the Foundation is grateful for special donations of organizations and individuals, in which case the purpose to which the donation is used can be determined by the donor.

Friends of the Christian Museum
The Friends of the Christian Museum was established in 1973. Its members support the Museum by yearly donations. The Museum regularly invites the members to the events and programs (temporary exhibitions, lectures), and informs them about the functioning of the Museum.
