The most important part of the collection of ceramics is, besides Chinese porcelain, delftware. With an admirably vital activity, the small Dutch workshops provided all of Europe with their brilliant, glazed ceramics painted in blue. A typical example of their products is this vase with a high neck, decorated with stylized flowers and genre scenes that show Chinese influence.
